Especially in Critical Infrastructure environments, cybersecurity protection relies traditionally on Static Defense implementations in the SCADA networks. Often, legacy systems (and these days even modern IoT devices) are difficult or even impossible to adequately protect against todays common cybersecurity threats, let alone the more severe advanced cybersecurity threats. The traditional Static Defense protection components are also known to be more and more expensive and more and more difficult to maintain and manage. Constant maintenance and additional measures are required to try to keep up with the constant increase of the cybersecurity threats and it’s constantly advancing malicious capabilities.
The demo shows how a Multi Target Defense network replaces the intended functionalities from the Static Defense mechanisms, but with no extra effort on site while it also securing the legacy systems and IoT devices on site even when the remote access connection is initiated from an untrusted device. At the same time, the maintenance and management costs are dramatically reduced for the site to be protected!
Implementation of the new remote access solution can therefor be done within a day and without any downtime!
Since 2020 Lapidaire Projects and Dispel partnered to market and support the unique secure remote access solution from Dispel. Originally designed and developed in the militairy world, but later patented and commercialized by Dispel to manage and monitor Industrial Control Systems in the Critical Infrastructure.
